Persistent Systems’ Chief Data Scientist, Dattaraj Rao, Argues That Companies Must Rethink How They Approach Machine Learning In Order to Save Time and Resources

Machine learning relies heavily on the accurate and efficient labeling of data in order to work properly. However, the resources required to accomplish this usually aren’t feasible as it historically requires human intervention that many companies cannot find due to the lack of data scientists. Dattaraj Rao argues that in order to overcome this challenge, companies must consider different approaches to solving this problem including active learning and weakened supervision.
